PAST: The Great Northern: Saint Paul Chef Experience

A rockstar team of Saint Paul chefs combining forces to bring a lively, outdoor, Northern-proud feast to Lowertown, Saint Paul in partnership with The Great Northern, MN Pure & Clear Ice, and The Growler.

Chef Adam Eaton of Saint Dinette and Chef Thomas Boemer of Corner Table and Revivial will join forces again to host an outdoor winter feast cooked over open flames. New this year, James Beard award-winning chef Tim McKee will join the ranks with Shane Oporto to serve up a selection of sweet and savory, soul-warming dishes, all under the awnings of the Saint Paul Farmer’s Market.

In addition, McKee will be hosting a reception for VIP ticket holders in the lower level of The Market House Collaborative. The reception will begin an hour before the main event and include a hosted raw bar, cocktails, and wine. The space will also serve as a private warming house for VIP guests throughout the festivities.

Masterminds Laurel Elm, Nick Rancone, and Erik Eastman will be crafting chilled, warm, and spiked beverages to add to a beautiful evening of outdoor dining in Lowertown, Saint Paul. All beverages will be available a la carte.

Eric Dayton, founder of Askov Finlayson and The Great Northern leadership team, said it best, “There’s nothing more Minnesotan than enjoying an outdoor meal or drink with friends and a good fire. And there’s no reason we can’t enjoy those traditions in winter, too!”
